ABOUT ME
I love to bake!
I was a "sometimes" baker. I always made several pies for Thanksgiving, I always made Christmas Cookies, I always made Birthday Cakes...you know how it is.

Then the pandemic hit.

That's when I started really baking. I was baking nearly every day, challenging myself with breads, tarts, pastries, you name it! As my family was devouring my bakes, I was devouring books on bread baking and French patisserie.
Of course I was not always successful. There were many, many failures, under-proofed, over-baked, butter seeping out of my pastries, grainy buttercream, split batters, etc., but I always tried a recipe again until it was right. I found that I had a passion for baking that I didn't know I had. I REALLY LOVE IT!
So here I am, still baking, still loving it, and of course still making mistakes, and still learning from them.
